Theatre TRAVIS ALABANZA – SMASHING DOWN THE DOORS

7pm

23/10/2020 - 23/10/2020

Travis Alabanza will be delivering a key note speech on ‘smashing down the doors’, how the arts needs to nurture the “un-traditional” in order for it to stay alive.

Travis Alabanza will reflect upon their experience of entering the arts as a working class Black trans person. What does it mean to be an artist when your whole upbringing you were told you could not be one? Instead, they’ll use these experiences to discuss how and what the arts is missing when we shut the doors.
